A statement regarding Salvation and Aden Tanner

Taking into account it's us that get rid of most of the things in a CG so Tanner starting a war with Salvation is just a request for "Us to kill him". This will simply mean Aegis can go on as they did before with no system nukes, one big question is "did we ever work out how Salvation did the predicting AND destruction of Thargoids?".

I'm wondering if he's a Guardian AI experiment with all the guardian stuff going around now it would be totally feasible to think of the living components like parts of a giant galactic AI computer, IE each piece is a processing component so the more guardian stuff that's put there the more it has to return to its former glory.

We know very little here just that we press a button and it goes pew pew, and this is only because of a possible translation of schematics.

We all know that things get lost in translation so who knows we might be bringing the guardian AI back online unknowingly ourselves?

I don't think he predicted it. If he had the ability to predict, he would've seen these other eleven coming. He did not, which is a massive red flag.

I think he's responsible for luring them to Cornsar - whether that's related to the Alexandria or not doesn't matter - specifically so he could demonstrate his weapon and thereby gain the trust of the galactic community at large. Which, well, besides a few of us he seems to have.

If I ever meet him? He's getting a broken nose. Hell, I have a broken nose, I'm sat in the infirmary aboard my flagship about to have three sets of ribs repaired, my broken nose straightened out, several-millimetre deep plasma and laser burns treated and bullet-and-cockpit-shrapnel removed from my everywhere.

I am not a happy bunny right now. I'm going to have to have more work done!

I take the lack of Salvation nuke after Cornsar to indicate that it's a one-hit weapon and he hasn't got any more components to make another. Making another will require another CG, or the discovery of that wrecked ship full of Guardian gubbins...

I also like the idea of Salvation as Guardian AI, I think it fits in a similar way to Dorne. But I also think Palin fits. There are a number of possibilities, and we don't have any real evidence at the moment. Keep narrowing it down...

Good luck with the surgery, McCoy, I'll be trying to add to your medical bill if I see you in the CZs. I doubt if I'll succeed though ;)

Well, that seems to be it. We knew The Butcher would win, but there we are I suppose.
I would like to extend an official thank you to all those that supported our campaign, especially all five-hundred-and-fourty-seven of you that directly contributed to the goal itself.

We fought until the end, and that's what matters. I've ordered my forces to make an immediate withdrawal from the T Tauri system now that the conflict has concluded, but that campaign update is far too sensitive for public consumption due to operational security. Or at least that's what my advisors tell me.

Humanity has made a choice, I am ashamed that it is the wrong one, and I am saddened by thoughts of the many that will now lose their lives as a consequence.

I'm also anxiously awaiting the casualty and loss reports, search and rescue aboard the medical carrier AOE Temple Medical have done their best and I greatly thank them for their service. They're the real heroes here, the hospital ships on both sides.

Stay safe, all of you. I'm sorry that it had to come down to this.
Right on, Commanders.
