A system named "H"

I searched some star catalogues (such as Simbad), there is no star named "h" in any of them.

Very strange then. Maybe this one has to just be chalked up to a bug or typo. And from what I could tell when I was there, there isn't any planets in the system to land on. But there was already a clam to the sun when I was there a few days ago. Now that we know its there though, it does need a tourist beacon!

Especially if it is there by mistake!

Edit: I did look up the alt code for h (alt+104) so maybe this has something to do with it? But then again you dont see systems with just 3 random numbers as the name either. So I am at a loss for now.

Rooting around in Simbad (I have my annual self-assessment to do at work and anything is better than that) then the best candidate I can come up with is HD 171658. It's a member of the IC 4756 cluster and the right (K5) star class. It also starts with 'h;

Somebody who is actually in-game could do a search for HD 171658 and see if it finds anything - it isn't in EDSM.

Many here have questions that it seems only "boots on the ground" will help clear up so I went and grabbed my 45Ly Smart Asp with both hands and plotted a course.

Ok well here we are at H.

It's a Trinary Star System. One Class K star and two Class M's.

The gas giants are about 24k Ls out. I think I'll run out to one and see what its moons have to offer. I could use a few supplies and here would be as good a place as any to get them.

It's named after Harold my old work mate, known as "H" blinding bloke, dropped dead of a Heart attack. - probably not but I'm going to stick to that story as like I said H was a top bloke
