A tool to do trading missions efficiently

I want to make all the commanders that are like me, almost never looking into the Player Tools subforum, aware of a tool.

If you have a bunch of trading missions it figures out where to get the commodities and then finds a route that is (timewise) most efficient.

With enventually a pen and a sheet of paper for brains that are low on memory. It can even be used for exploration !

What is this 'brain' of which you speak? Is it anything like eddb?

This is exactly why I wrote the tool. Because looking up commodities and trying to get the stations where to get stuff into a certain order is always the same. One does not need a brain for that and this is exactly what computers where made for.

It was fun writing the program and solving the whole and certain subproblems.

I usually have EDDB open and on commodities tab by default when trading and hauling. But I guess you can never have enough tools to play ED.

Yes, I have that too. The first version of the program had me copy / paste EDDB information and evaluating that.
But if you take the maximum allowed number of missions you is so much different stuff to haul, that I realized that a mission optimization tool needs to be written.

i forgot to mention that the tool is of course based on the data provided by the awesome EDDB.io. Now THAT is impressive work and without it I couldn't have done that
