Someday in the future, when I look back on the time I've spent in Elite Dangerous and the many different things I've encountered organically, I will always fondly remember the time I spent in Borann mining with tens of thousands of my fellow commanders during what System chat initially billed as the Great LTD Rush of 3306. I'd probably be done with the credit grind by now had I not been spending the vast majority of my time hanging out with these wonderful people (even most of the pirates!) in System chat and in large wing mining groups alike. Even some Discords dedicated to Borann sprang up and filled quickly, because so many people there seemed to enjoy the interaction experience as well and wanted to be able to keep in touch long after the rush is done and we're off doing our own thing in a fleet of fleet carriers, though quite a few wish to remain.
It seems like that triple hotspot will be gone, and I'm sure discussions will be had about that on other threads, but if at all possible, I think it'd be welcome and appreciated if the event were remembered with a simple tourist beacon and a few words about how a huge chunk of the galaxy's inhabitants descended on one system with a common goal in mind for themselves, and helping each other get there by sharing information on LTD prices, offering to wing mine, and generating all sorts of tiny pockets of content throughout.
It'd be one more example of the kind of emergent content we can point out to future commanders as the kind of possibilities that can happen here.
