I am probably classed as a semi-noob on here but I have done a fair few hours and travelled a fair bit (I think), but I came a cross some Thargoids whilst on solo play down near the Pleiades sector, and got wiped out. Whilst venturing away from there in search of better armour I spotted amongst the Aries dark region a system called Wolf-1279 which I thought I would visit as it was a wolf amongst sheep. There's a lot of thargoids in that system! I managed to avoid them but I was wondering if anyone else had looked into this area?? I will search all the horizons planets but just wondered if anyone has visited here too.
Yeah, I've been there, scanned the bodies for some exploration data. Nothing really special. There's a chance for some Thargoid encounters all throughout that area.
Did the Thargs attack first, or were you carrying Thargoid material, or get too close to them ?
I was curious when a non human signal passed me, as I came out of suoercruise it was right in front of me, I had enough time to scan in then try and do a runner. But it chased me down and destroyed me.
It's a real star amongst procedurally generated ones.
