A Year of Aquarium Pack Suggestions

Just like with my aviary pack suggestions, I came up with a similar idea for aquarium/marine animal packs. I tried to check that all of the species suggested survive well and breed in captivity, but I may have missed one or two that don't so I apologise for any poor suggestions. Feel free to suggest better alternatives.

Marine Pack: Like with my aviary lists, the first scenery pack would be a simple pack to introduce players to any new mechanics needed for marine species. A Marine Theme could be based around coral reef structures, so that players can design their zoos to look like giant coral reefs.
Animals:

• Sea Otter
• Green Sea Turtle
• Pacific Walrus
• Blacktip Reef Shark
• Giant Pacific Octopus (E)

Aquarium Animal Pack: This pack would include animals that would solely be in the exhibits, to create a real aquarium feel. Most of the species I suggested are coral reef species, so it doesn't offer the most ecosystem diversity, sorry.
Animals:

• Common Clownfish
• Copperband Butterflyfish
• Blue Tang
• Green Moray
• Stellate Puffer
• Red Lionfish
• Leafy Seadragon
• Peacock Mantis Shrimp

Endangered Aquarium Pack: This pack would focus on species that are threatened with extinction. A Recyclable Theme could be based around finding alternative uses for single-use plastics. I will admit that this was the last pack I created for this list and I struggled to come up with a unique idea, so I apologise for suggesting another 'conservation pack'.
Animals:

• Oceanic Manta Ray
• Bonnethead
• Hawaiian Monk Seal
• Northern Rockhopper Penguin
• Banggai Cardinalfish (E)

Freshwater Animal Pack: The final pack would focus on species that are adapted to freshwater ecosystems, rather than marine. Although some species on this list can be found in both marine and freshwater habitats. This pack would also differ from the usual animal pack as there is more of a balance between habitat and exhibit animals.
Animals:

• Florida Manatee
• Alligator Snapping Turtle
• White Spotted River Stingray
• Mekong Giant Catfish
• Upside-down Jellyfish (E)
• Red-bellied Piranha (E)
• Charco Palma Pupfish (E)
• Banded Archerfish (E)

Anniversary Animal: Alligator Gar

Again, I apologise if this has been suggested before but I wanted to see what ideas people would like to see if Frontier did a year of aquarium DLC packs.

So I won’t support full aquarium stuff unless planet aquarium becomes a thing, with some exceptions.
I really wanted some large sized exhibits that could be used as tanks for freshwater animals such as
1. Alligator gar
2. Ocellate stingrays
3. Electric eel
4. Red bellied piranha
5. Arapiama
Those in particular and other cool large freshwater fish

Now for coastal marina dlc, here’s some suggestions yet a good amount of us have suggested some these animals are more appropriate for aquariums. Regardless I’d like these animals.
1. Green sea turtle
2. Sea otter
3. Manatee
4. Marine iguana
5. Fur seal

My top priority for aquatic habitat animals are the sorts of large freshwater fish that can be kept in open-topped pools, moats and lakes within a zoo setting - some of my top choices would be:

• American paddlefish
• Arapaima
• Bull shark (Sydney Zoo have at least one of these in a pool adjacent to their aquarium)
• Long-finned eel
• Siberian sturgeon
• Silver arowana
• Xingu freshwater stingray
