First of all as a customer I'm pretty salty that the reason I registered in here was to post a bug. (As a lot of others fresh accounts I'm sure)
So now that I got it out of my chest - Aardvarks, not so little, easy to maintain and pretty expensive in comparision animals (I can buy 2 gold male lions in the price of 1 gold male aardvark...) who are monogamus and so if you decide to upgrade one of them to higher standard they will not breed.
Apparently once chosen mate will not be cleaned from the game memory if it'll be sold and so the game will politely inform you thaat you've screwed yourself over and will not breed them anymore.
Are you frustrated yet? Don't worry, I've seen the very same issue on reddit (just for red ruffed lemurs) week ago.
If you've had the issue please confirm this thing so the devs might copy the issue to their jira (redmine or whatever else they use as an issue tracker), slap it with low priority (who cares about aardvarks?) and maybe come back to it 2 iterations from now. (Yes I'm very salty IT worker
