It's all cool. I'm colourblind and bald. Both from an early age. I might seem snarky, but really it's just general cynicism - no target intended. I come across as bitter generally whatever I do. [big grin]
I would like to see some other colours. Maybe even some more directional lights added to highlight the entrance to the starport. Even add some navigational extras for those of us with a disability. But don't ignore or mock us, that's just lame.
Statistically speaking 10% of the male population is affected by colour blindness. And red/green is the most common.
FTL is a 5 year old game. Left 4 Dead is a 9 year old franchise. Yet, colour blind mode is something they have both had from day 1. No red green from them.
List all the lore explanations you like. Then remember the gaping holes elsewhere.
