About G-Loc (red-out/black-out)

A red out can easily be prevented by using the correct flying technique. Red out happens sooner than black out. Astronauts who pilot space ships often have a background in flying fighter jets, and know how to avoid negative G which leads to red out. If you want to get all precise about flying space ships you should fly them like fighter jets.. meaning you will pull up on your stick to make a turn, not push down. That way you maximize the amounts of G you can tolerate on your body. Sure, in elite we can push down without much consequence, but it's not the fighter-jet way of flying. ;)

Hang on, I've never done this, how do I do it? Have I been Vulturing wrong? Is my Imperial Eagle defective?

How do I black out? I'm often using FA off for boost turns but never once blacked out.

I want it! How do I achieve it?

If you want to black out hard, switch the FA off during the glide and try to turn. ;)

In normal flight, you can partially black out during the FA off boost turn in an engineered Vulture or Eagle.
