About info on the launch screen

It would be nice to have on the launch screen info about
- the status of the ED-server
- time schedule of a planned upgrade or maintenance on the server.
- other info which could be of interest to the ED-universe inhabitants

I'd try suggesting this again after launch... Right now I think they're all busy chasing down bugs like a herd of busy squirrels hiding nuts for winter...

ED will run on multiple servers, so not sure how that info would go...
FD could easily update planned maintenance in the news feed, but right now its all hotfixes ASAP.
A Galnet feed on the launcher would be cool with highlights from different parts of the universe... I'd love to see that...

Understandable. I'd also love to see these suggestions by @esraven and a Galnet feed implemented in the companion app.
