About the natural paths

Will there be an option to turn off the curbs? I just think the option to not have curbs on the natural paths would be awesome

Sorry if it seems I'm ungrateful for like, suggesting things just after announcement lol, I'm just excited about it, and would love the possibility. No curbs would be perrrrfect.

No, its natural to see something new and then get a million different ideas around it.
Id like to see togglable curbs/railings on all paths to be honest.

When they announced "natural" paths, I was expecting NO-CURBS lol... how is it any different from a "new path type"? Natural should mean "invisible" and we choose our own terrain/scenery etc. didn't they say something about making your own staircase out of scenery and turning into a path or something? No curbs AND no railings in a must have option!

In reality people would just run through the scenery. I guess they are important for the normal players, but they might be in the way for builders.

Maybe as well as the option to remove the curbs, have the option to alter the curbs to fences or railings...

I just want railings on my curved paths at this point.

I would love to have ability to change the curb to different kinds of curbs and/or fences by clicking on the design we want, and not have to place/paint it on. Insta-curb!

I find with the current path system, it's too curvy/windy, which is a problem if you want to create cattle-pen style queues such as those seen in the smiler. A nice option that I would like to see is to have an option where the curve when doing 180/90 degree turns can be removed. Most cattle pen queues involve having a floor, then placing loads of fences over it to make the queue, whereas in PC the paths are too individual, where there's a full curb with a gap in the middle etc etc.

This links in with this topic - you can create a variety of style of queues, perhaps a more organic one with trees, no fences/curbs etc, but also allows you to create cattle pen queues.

Regarding the curbs, I've personally never seen a queue with curbs like this, it's either just a fence in a cattle pen, or maybe a row of rocks instead of a curb. Obviously this could add more detail into the game, allowing to to select how you want the queue curbs to be.

They mentioned different borders, didn't they? I'm hoping fences and various flagstones...

Wouldn't no border OR park manager-chosen item(s) be a different border? (like a simple 4x4 post laying parallel to the path)

As far as curbs go, I'd love to see the option to have regularly spaced path lights. They already have those little boxes along some path types, so why not make it so they light up at night.

This has been stated before, and even the devs have noted it. I am surprised they haven't found a solution yet but hopefully they will. Its funny how curved paths is such a big improvement, but at the same time we have lost the formation of a tight square which was the original basic game design.

Maybe a way to make it so queues can be placed into its own separate grid like with buildings? as an option, I think that would be cool and helpful for building scenery and queues together.

Other people have noted wanting to "fill in" an entire area with paths/queues which is not too easy currently and always leaves parts uncovered, hopefully they can find a fix around for that, which again I think would work if paths/queues could be on their own grid and/or connected to a building. I thought they said in the live stream that we would be able to place "natural" paths that combined with scenery/custom stairs, but I guess I miss-heard that part? I want to go back and re-watch it...

I like this a lot! [up] Placing lights on every dark area of path can be a a lot of work
