Ok,
this isn't really VR as such and this isn't actually for Elite (since my laptop certainly couldn't play it) but I thought people who do use VR might be able to help me with this. I primarily want this for 1st person games Minecraft ect

Long story short I have a Dualshock 4 controller for my laptop (with use of DS4Windows) and I was wondering if there was any programs that would allow me to setup the 6axis input as a spring mouse so that I could tilt the controller and it would fling my looking direction around but would return back when I re levelled my controller. basically a sping mouse input assigned to the 6axis this should theoretically work in most if not all first person pc games... providing they are post quake

I have tried setting this up in DS4Windows, Xpadder and Input mapper without any success then it occurred to me that there probably is a very simple program with the exact purpose of assigning accelerometer/gyroscopic sensors to a springed mouse input for the sake of a cheap head tracking option.
I vaguely remember seeing something like this on the internet but I m struggling to find it now.

sorry for intruding everyone, hopefully I've explained this well enough
