Wow...
This represents something quite remarkable (for me).
I've been playing video games of all makes and genres for 40 years and in all that time, in all the guises that the games have ever come in, I don't think I've ever reached a billion anything's.
After approximately 18 months in the black (the longest I think that any single game has ever held my focus), that changed last night when I noticed that the clock had just rolled over the 1Bn credit mark.
This has in no small way been thanks to Professor Palin who seems to have some sort of addiction to Thargoid resin. Long may his addiction to the tubs of green slime continue... and who knows, maybe he'll remember me as one of his 'supplier mates' and when he does actually produce his next big idea, maybe he'll mention me in one of his resin induced diatribes.
Btw...I'm not bragging that I've got loads of creds, because I remember the crawl up from the Sidewinder and Cobra, but like I say a personal gaming landmark for me that just shows that you don't need exploits to get cash. Just do it the old fashioned way... by supplying illegal materials to dodgy scientists who have more cash than sense.
I'm looking forward to continuing my voyages in the black and everything that's coming up...
