Although this is a whiny tiny thing, I still need to get it off my chest: the popup that informs that you missed the target in the new FSS - as well as the swapping between analysis and combat mode - completely breaks with EDs otherwise fairly minimalistic UI design - which we all love. More or less everything else is rather small, text based and informative, but then out of nowhere a huge icon of something jumps at ya screaming whooooaa you missed a target!!! Just feels a bit misplaced is all.
Well, honestly what I really aim to convey is a solemn wish that Frontier will stay on the path of less is more when it comes to the UI design. Sleek, text based information adds to the immersion of a proper space ship where resources are scarce and have to be distributed carefully.
So basically: for the love of god, stick to what you're doing! Keep it dark, neat, complex and difficult! Please don't change it up to attract a broader audience. Huge, simplified UI just makes me sad.
