Add Corrosion-Resistant Storage to SRVs

Hi everyone,

I’d like to suggest adding corrosion-resistant cargo racks or compartments to SRVs in Elite Dangerous, similar to the modules we can use on ships.

Currently, exploring Thargoid sites or collecting Guardian or Thargoid relics on foot or with the SRV can be a real challenge due to the lack of corrosion protection. It limits gameplay and forces players to constantly return to their ships if they want to carry any of these materials.

Having the option to equip SRVs with corrosion-resistant storage (even a small one) would really improve immersion, exploration, and efficiency—especially for those of us who love archaeological and xenological gameplay.

What do you think? Would you use it?

If that's ever a thing, make it an SRV from a Tech Broker. Different from the first two, like we have different SLFs.

Off-topic, but I would really have fun if I could reliably get my SRV to permanently float or even fly out into space on lower gravity planets. Managed to do it with the Scarab, but that was using some glitch. More like an accident.

To get enough ENG recharge to do this, I'd be willing to sacrifice 75% cargo capacity, 50% driving speed and 50% of the gun's DPS.

Optionally, make that 1 remaining unit of cargo corrosion resistant

Or just give us more SRVs, even if they look like 80% reused model from one another.
