I never used the melee attack once. In fact, I don't know if/where I have bound the key for it. Based on that my choice would be faster shield regeneration. Though I found in a combat zone increased battery capacity is more convenient.

Having said that, the state of the game thread is the sort of thing that should be put in a Turing test museum then, for it is a thing of pure beauty. Did I program the ai, or was it fuglydog himself?
