Now, is it just me (because it certainly could be), or have things changed in the game?
Coming back to EDH after a little time away, I slapped my Corvette into port, next to my Cutter & Anaconda and boarded my favourite ship; my Diamondback Explorer. Don't ask why, I just like it. Anyhow, I use my Diamondback for unlocking engineers, gathering materials, scanning wakes etc. I also use it for planetary scanning missions, as it's good to park, unlike the Cutter, which can be a bit tricky on bumpy terrain. So, I pick up a planetary scanning mission, head to the correct system, engage my "Advanced (Infinite Range), Discovery Scanner", and hey presto... I can't find the destination planet. No little objective blob next to any of the planets in the system. Instead... and this happened twice, I had to go to the Nav Beacon to find the relevant planet.
Now, it was my understanding, that as long as you had the Advanced Discovery Scanner, there was no need for the Nav Beacon. In the past, using the ADS has always shown up where the target planets are. However, this doesn't seem to work anymore. Is anyone else experiencing this, or am I just doing things wrong now that they have changed the system, i.e. introduction of the different modes?
Can someone give me an indication because I'm a bit stumped and going to the Nav Beacon every time is a bit of a time waster.
Cheers,
Cpt. Tytanius.
