I just started the game for the first time since July... Dear Lord, exploration is even more tedious now.
Key binding section in game options is ridiculous.
I feel like I want to uninstall the game, honestly lol

And actually exploration is much less tedious now because you don't have to fly anywhere now and can identify surface sites like geysers and als signal sources with the scanner and directly go there without relying on random spawns or eyeballing planets.
So a space game is less tedious because you don't have to fly anywhere and you now have an infinite i-win button to find absolutely everything. I don't know why we don't just send out probes from the bubble to do it all for us.

Before I only had to scan once to see all planets and I was flying only to a planet that I was finding interesting i.e. ELW, Water World.. now you have to scan all to find things that may interest you.
I suppose it may seem more interesting to people, then I've never really had much patience with exploration![]()

If it's like you say then fine![]()

Nothing like a good strawman to further an argument.
Old system: honk to reveal the entire system (payment tier 1), hyperspace out if nothing interests you, fly to planets individually if they are interesting (payment tier 2).
New system: honk to reveal the number of planets in a system, but not their locations (payment tier 1). Then, look around the system from the position of the star finding exactly where the planets are, being aware that ELWs, WWs and AWs are highlighted in the spectrum analysis (payment tier 2). If you are then inclined to visit any planets, you can get payment tier 3 for mapping them. It's also worth noting that the FSS stage now indicates if any planets have points of interest worth visiting, so no more picking moons at random and getting thoroughly depressed from driving around aimlessly.
