I really do wonder why a system that could be summed up like this:
"LAST SHOT GETS KILL"
...is rewritten as...
"LAST SHOT GETS KILL (unless that last shot comes from a ship not flown by a player (except for capital ships))"
...and possibly...
PAYMENTS HANDED OUT TO EVERY ATTACKING SHIP (based on damage dealt to hull and sub-systems using fixed weighting tables (excluding partially damaged sub-systems (discounting damage components from friendly fire (and collisions (but full damage payments if target is destroyed by circumstances other than weapons fire within ten seconds of receiving weapons fire from player ship(s))))))
Are we quite sure we all want to be explaining crap like this to newcomers for the next n years?
