Regarding some of the missing animals in this potential pack, I think that a future Endangered species pack is very likely, and that would be a perfect occasion to add the Amur leopard (which seems to be more common in zoos) and the addax, for example. Getting an African pack with 4 animals doesn't mean we won't get any other animals from this continent or that we will never get a leopard because the South East Asia and Africa packs missed them.

Good point. I have to think at some point before the game's run concludes, we'll get a true leopard, maybe African, maybe Asian, I think it's definitely a "one or the other" situation and we will not see both.
Although these are not my top species I’m really happy with these animal picks because it shows that Frontier knows exactly which animals are most popular in the community.
Like someone else said here before we could easily fill in next 3 Animal packs with African species in just a second.
I also have dozens of African animals I would like to add but hopefully we would get them in a different pack or some creative artist would make them.
If I could change one animal in this pack I would add SERVAL - such a unique cat that looks and moves like any other and would fit very nicely.

no discussion about the source or plausibility? why? that is more important than the content, if its fake.
@Kazootausend Well the source found it in the games files I believe. @nutrit I think people will enjoy the penguin once he’s released. It will probably become most people’s preferred choice in their personal zoos. I like the serval but would trade it for the Caracal any day.

It's 100% real. The source is datamining, albeit accidental datamining.
The source is the game itself. Modders accidentally stumbled upon the files in the game.
Give me both, the caracal and the serval, plus the ozelot and perhaps also the jaguarundi

I refer to what Tobs posted before. Apparently, some PZ players that have navigated through the game files since PZ was released remember this rainforest tag from when the SA DLC was released. It is in a file inside the "Content 2" (aka SA DLC) folder. Got the info from Discord.Did you check the files yourself or did someone make a video about it I can't find?

I'm not sure if I'm understanding you (believe me, it's not easy), but, like other people have already told you: the source is the game files, not "somebody". The leaked info was found during a livestream where 20-25 people were watching, not even a regular edited Youtube video.
Both models for the tapirs are exactly the same. I'm not kidding, every vertex is in the exact same location. The only difference is a slight change in the toes.
It is on the game files right now, I can guarantee that, as I've seen it myself.

Go get the mod tools, open the game files, see for yourself its all in there. So when you say you don't trust the source you're actually talking about Frontier themselves and what they put into their game files already.
