after patch tritium

so has anything changed after todays patch? i was hoping for some more Tritium runs but it seems no more cheap Tritium available?

So it's fixed? Cool.
But I've much better things to do than mining.
Good luck to all those who do however..perhaps fdev have tweaked the pirate AI too...so be on your guard.
Seriously I hope it's fixed and we can all get about our business. Explorers will no doubt feel a reprieve.

Inara is not showing much changes in Tritium supply and by the looks of it, same situation out in Colonia.
May have to wait a bit for Cmdrs to update Inara.

I've 9000+ on board. Luckily.
Too busy in the bubble to venture out yet. By the time I do it'll be fixed I hope.
In the meantime if l was out in the black I'd be searching for a double or better tritium HS. or filling my boots locally..

They only actually said they intended to make tritium MINING back to how it was.

They never said they had any intention of changing the ability to buy it cheaply or in more abundance back to how it was.

Which I hate by the way - but that's what they said.

I hope supplies have improved at stations. I am currently stuck out in colonia until it is fixed
I think the bug at stations was fixed. Fdev never intended for stations to have unlimited tritium for sale. Get a mining ship and get free tritium at hotspots. Fdev likely tweaked tritium returns while mining

Less than an hour including travelling time in a single tritium hotspot using only lasers collected 103 tritium plus 30 bromellite etc.

Could have done better if I concentrated on just high yield tritium.

Nah, not going to spend 100 plus hours mining again. I did enough mining for one lifetime. Gonna wait for a fix on this

There's no fix coming buddy.

Tritium using the actual supply and demand system they use (which is pretty pants) is the intended functionality.

There are not supposed to be places with infinite 4k priced tritium as there was for a while.
The fix is done.

Fdev did say a very long time ago that fleet carriers were refueled by tritium, which can be harvested by mining. They never said they can be refueled by cheap unlimited tritium at stations

No, they DID promise us that tritium could be mined or purchased at stations.

The issue in Colonia isn't the availability of "cheap" tritium. It's the availability of ANY tritium (except trace amounts).

Frontier have broken their promise. In Colonia, at least.

Indeed, if tritium was even 60k a ton, I'd buy 10k of it. I just need something to buy, and there is none at stations. Within reason, I wouldn't mind paying a small premium over galactic average.

That being said my carrier has a buy order on Tritium, and am paying 175% for each ton.

Nah they didn't. Colonia is a small frontier economy and population. It's not Frontiers fault that all the city folk from the bubble came out there and bought it all.

Adding to that, it's sort of like buying a sports car...if you have to ask how much a tire change is going to be, you can't afford it. Likewise, if buying a full tank of tritium at normal 40k prices is a cost concern, then you really shouldn't be owning a carrier.

Carriers are mobile fleet carriers, not super-condas.
