So, I've just been doing a bit of flying around my home port of Kamadhenu, and I happened to spot that there was a Megaship near by; the Demeter Class Agricultural Vessel BKG-235.
This is probably a noob thing, and I've kinda missed the whole Thargoid thing (I was 'sploring the galactic centre so literally lightyears away from it all), but the green gaseous cloud surrounding the ship, and the damage to the hull seemed to suggest that it had been a victim of a Thargoid attack (from what little I have heard about them).
Am I being dense, or am I right to think that Kamadhenu is far enough away from the Pleiades Nebula for ships to be safe? Given the damage she took, I can't imagine that she escaped and travelled more than maybe 10/15LY to reach where she is now (orbiting Kamadhenu 2, if anyone fancies a look).
I'm not expecting to have found the next "big clue" or anything, just seemed a long way from the areas I'd seen reports of attacks and was just curious if the scope of the Thargoid issue had reached that far out?
(ps - if you've played this game for years then I'm sure I sound the equivalent of a 5 year old asking this question, and that's cool. I know nothing about the bigger and wider world of ED. I'm genuinely just curious.
