AI Tactical Behavior: The D-Move

Just wait for 2.4: Forum Posters. The NPCs will log onto the forum, posting videos of their griefing. Auto-reply to any whiners, calling them 'care-bears'. Talk smack, like an workplace-superior-colleague.

Somewhere out there, Sarah is laughing like a maniac.

Wait a minute... Are you trying to tell me all these other posters are real people, screenshot or it's not true! :D

They already do, and SJA is taking nebulizer treatments for laryngitis. :)

I could not respond to the syntax of your query. Please rephrase your question.

You could not respond to the syntax of his query because his syntax did not make a query. Please rephrase your dismissal.

Lately I've noticed that NPCs tend to run into my ship quite often. For example they approach me for a cargo scan in res site and they don't stop in time and end up bumping me.

Mocking tone detected. Target Cmdr StiTch tagged for D-move manoeuvre. Have a nice day.

I think I'll have a rubbish day just to spite you.

Really? That used to be a problem as part of a bug, but recently NPCs seem to have been fitted with magnets that keep them well away from other ships...

How did this thread become "irresponsible drivers anonymous"? ;)

Heh.. long ago, in my misspent youth, I worked as a Field Technician. While returning to the office from a client site one summer afternoon, my phone rings. Normally I ignore it when driving, but it was the boss calling. I answer. He asks me "Are you done out there?" I say "Yeah, finished up about 10 minutes ago." He says "So what are you doing right now?"
I look at the speedometer and reply "130."
There's silence for a minute, I exit that long and lovely stretch of otherwise abandoned road, come around the corner as he says "No, seriously, what are you doing right now?"
I reply "Parking, look out your window."
I see the curtain pull back, and I watch my boss drop his phone and I start laughing. I walk back inside, and he says "I thought you were joking, you had to have been going at least that fast!"
"Faster really, but I was close to the exit, so I had to slow down."
