Air-to-ground Conflict zones, overall settlement defense, and APEX Taxi suggestion.

So, this is a multi-suggestion post as the title includes.

With Conflict Zones being out, we have been seeing an increase in videos of people using their ships to obliterate the troops on the ground. The suggestion I have is to buff anti-ship turrets to where they are a viable and significant threat to player ships. Right now we aren't seeing engineered ships, but in phase 4 and live game engineered ships will be far more of a threat.

Now, the APEX Interstellar change. If players become wanted due to their illegal actions in a settlement mission outside of a Conflict Zone they will have to rethink on how they escape in their own ships. Do you turn off the power? Maybe power down the anti-ship turrets...or do you run away/drive your SRV further away from the settlement so the turrets aren't a direct threat? Immersive is the idea, in real-life is it a common occurrence where a vehicle is hijacked or somebody innocent was used as a driver to be gunned down and murdered because the criminal is in the backseat or passenger seat? No. Therefore the Taxi should be exempt. Yes, I know there are some instances that it occurred, but this isn't a conversation on political beliefs. This is a "right and wrong" point. But, if a player can successful manage his life in one piece to make it to the Taxi, the Taxi shouldn't be punished by Authority Vessels or the settlement guns from a peaceful settlement. The player would just have to turn himself-in or pay through the Installer Factor.

With a buff to anti-ship turrets comes the taxi change. The Taxi service should be always neutral to authority vessels or settlement defenses. Unless the settlement is ran by criminals (I did a mission where even the scientists were criminals, it was a whole bad-guy). Then, players need to think of how they are going to tackle their Taxi getting out alive from a criminal ran settlement.

The only real concern would be the Vulture taxi service seeing that they do drop in the conflict zones where there are now beefed up anti-ship guns. I don't have a solution for that one, unless you wanted to supercharge their shields I guess?

Of course, I understand that players killing other players from their ship will be a rarity by the time live comes due to how many conflict zones are in a system. But, it is something to make it more of a challenge if a player wanted to just go obliterate all of the NPCs in a conflict zone.

Thanks for reading my suggestion!

To add to the APEX Taxi suggestion. The idea of the Taxi is so that people could play ED: Odyssey without having to fly around with their own spaceship. If people did decide to play that way it is a pretty big deterrent for how easily Taxis are destroyed and hopeless as they take off/attempt to FSD away.
