Album of images from Dev Diary 2 video

Nope, I made a lot better arguments. You are still wrong.
Such as?
You are ignorant, which is evident in your comments in this thread.
I believe you need to look up the definition of ignorant. I guess you are looking for 'you disagree with me' which is an entirely different thing.
You're placing comments out of context and changed them to suit your needs. Graphics are not only about the HUD obviously and I talked about many other things pertaining the graphics. If you do think that way it re-affirms your ignorance.
I believe I adressed your other points in a seperate paragraph where I pretty much agreed with you. If agreeing with you makes me ignorant I'd guess that says more about you than it says about me.

I don't need to repeat everything for you. Do your own homework.

Look up the term Graphical User Interface. Notice how this includes graphics.

  • Graphical user interface design – actual look and feel design of the final graphical user interface (GUI). These are design’s control panels and faces; voice-controlled interfaces involve oral-auditory interaction, while gesture-based interfaces witness users engaging with 3D design spaces via bodily motions. It may be based on the findings developed during the user research, and refined to fix any usability problems found through the results of testing.[4] Depending on the type of interface being created, this process typically involves some computer programming in order to validate forms, establish links or perform a desired action.[5]

Graphic design -> includes User Interface Design.

Tell me again how the HUD is not a relevant topic of discussion for graphics. And again I already talked at length about other aspects of the graphics.

I'm done with this thread.

LOL, everything which gets displayed in a video game is graphics. See the letter A? Graphics!
The question was, is the absence of HUD customisation relevant to the topic how much graphical fidelity of the game increased since release? In my opinion it's not. Just imagine they allow HUD customisation and I would start a thread that we just received a graphics overhaul. Most people would rightfully call me an idiot. If I would start a thread saying that we just received a customisation option, most people would probably agree. Adding multiple HUD colours doesn't improve graphics, it improves the user experience. The graphical quality doesn't get better by a change in colour.

What a childish response.

That was not the question.
I thought you are done with this thread.
Anyway, you call me childish and ignorant, while complaining that I 'called you names' (which I didn't IIRC)...
In the meantime you missed several opportunities to admit that HUD colour customisation wasn't your best example for the lack of graphical improvements...

I don't think your unnecessary prejudice against teachers born in England is appropriate for this thread, let alone on-topic (images from the dev diary)
It's off topic, but all my teachers were born in Germany just like my self. I only visited England once so I can't say much about the quality of English teachers over there.

Another thing I just noticed from the dev diary. Two shots have apparent shoulder-mounted cameras(?) or weapons(?)

You can see them on two characters here

In fact I didn't notice they are in most of the shots, the player walking toward the settlement, the two entering the settlement etc.

I'm obviously just blind :D

The body of the Cobra is now different, the front light 'bumpers' are angled. There also appears to be a more raised area on the panel in front of the window. The detail in the surfaces is clearly much higher now on the floor panels etc, light also seems changed eg bloom etc on ship lights.

And we can see the open doors at the back of the hangar.

It seems the weapons are connected via some kind of magnet to the backpack. They carry weapons inside a social hub so this is a low security station, a temporary placeholder or maybe they are security guards.

Yeah the devs mentioned we can seamlessly walk inside the hangar and around the ship.

I could imagine a mechanism in that rack, that lowers that gun-in-search-of-a-battleship-to-call home, whilst simultaneously rotating its point up, so that it slips right in under your arm... Might need to stay attached, even after that, to take some of the mass. :p
