There seems the best something underground at the beta site. if you take your classified camera and go beneath the surface you can see what looks like the top view of three obelisks or ancient pillars with a 4th one moving around them going clockwise. Did anyone see anything like this at the alpha site?

It was mentioned already several times and it has no purpose for the ruins itself but the game(technology) itself

Wasn't that the whole point in finding new ruins? To unlock more history?

I hope to god this is a bug - otherwise I'm throwing in the towel right now and I'm not going to bother looking for the rest - because it is just madness being told my Ram Tah to look in 4 new systems with 50+ planets - only to learn IT IS ALL THE SAME!?

Wow... at least we can be sure the other 3 ruins are just copy+paste, so it MIGHT mean something else and is pointing at something else... MIGHT.

I'm going to play real life for a while, I think.

What about the glyphs on the raising beacons?

The only difference between this is that the planet with the new ruins is tidally locked so x) Rip it will always be night out there.. and also that the moon is not landable ! , other thing is that its not near by crater or canyon

Yea. Sorry, I am bit edgy. Been pondering and searching past 4 days and caught some nasty flu from kids. I will try to step back from it and consider whats missing. But the only thing I think is possible is the Obelisks. Could there be some message hidden in how they light up? Galactic coordinates, anything?

Probably not, it's a debug camera, using it to clip inside the graphics models is unlikely to be the intended way to 'solve' things. Though feel free to try (some have even tried using it to find new ruins by looking 'through' the planet to those things under the surface I think. Didn't work

Exactly. So there must be hints somewhere else, other then Planets or Ruins Layout.

Edit: Its actually a good thing that the Ruins are Identical and the Planets totally different. Eliminates a Lot of Theories and Narrows the Research-Field down.

So since this site is identical from the first one and they are at different coordinates, does that mean all of the science done, (with the lines and theory crafting the meaning of the shapes/symbols/number of objects etc.) has been pointless?

I kind of wonder if the devs read this thread and actually take pleasure in wasting a lot of people’s time? From what I have seen so far they sure don’t waste any of their own time developing quality content…

The fact that the image was missing made me so angry!

(Not really ). Also if you 'Go Advanced' you can see a preview of your post, handy when doing stuff like images as I always get them wrong first & second time(s) otherwise.

You remind me - time for a quick cuppa while I scan this system. Is it near sunrise at the new ruins yet?
