Any significance to the alien ship having displaced earth but the other crashed ships having none?

If there were some type of fight/crash I'd imagine the other ships would also dig into the ground as well?

Or is it just not visible from the screen caps?

Nice observation man. Could mean something, or it could just be that FD used the default planetary crash 3d model for the alien ship and then hand placed the other human ships there by using the default models from combat aftermath USSs. Have never fiddled with gamefiles ofc (dont know even how to), but I assume that planetary crashed ship models have the displaced soil prerendered and attached to them. But, assuming that they werent that lazy, that might mean something. Will go to the crash site #3 later to check myself.

well Im not more expert than anyone else in this forum but Im pretty sure the discovery of a third one in such a short time frame suggests there may be others. I think that from now on it doesnt matter how many more we find because there is already a pattern of the general area they are about. Having found 3 of them is enough to move us to the next part of the story in my opinion. And this part might just be encounters with alive ones. As I said in a previous post, I believe that much is happening at the permit locked region between Pleiades and Horsehead sector. But even before this is unlocked, I wouldn't be surprised if I was snatched from hyperspace, while traveling in the general Pleiades region....

I don't have any proper recording software unfortunately and I can't understand morse myself but perhaps its worth looking into if we haven't already?

both conda's have no chair, best to check other crashed conda's and see if they are similar, it may just be a slight error in models

The Conda in Orrere has no chair either. Neither do any of the Anaconda wrecks I've found in USSes. Same goes for other ships as well. The interiors are intentionally low res textures with mostly everything gone except the main control panel (at least in the case of the Lakon ships as you can see with the T9 below.)

I don't have the Anaconda one as a screenshot offhand, but Obsidian Ant has a video of the wreck with an interior bridge view.

im getting the feeling that its the next stop
2 red t9's, both new sites are in a system with a B class star
maybe if more for these finds line up then it will be more than a coincidence

Unfortunately, that picture does not give any good clues. But after watching a few other Videos of the UP's EMP, i guess it's really just that video. Interestingly enough, i can't find that presumed T9 anywhere on the net (picture search doesn't turn up anything either).

Or did anyone else notice the UP's sometimes showing pictures?

That small blue light at the bottom of the picture though, thats the one I mean. It seems to be flickering, not sure if it's a pattern though.

time to search the borders o those permit locked areas might be something right up against the permit areas to find

Morning on, on another day of wild speculation/intelligent guesses/firm and provable science*

I've been out at the alien ruins, blah blah data sources, alien relics etc etc.
But one thing puzzled me.
On those large metallic 'clamps' around what appears to be landing pads are textured panels, now I'm running a gt560ti card so cant get the best resolution on them, however it does look like there are markings on them
On one in particular, it look like a man, arms outstretched with what looks like smoke coming out of his 'hands' Now given I'm looking at something alien through human eyes, has anyone looked closely into these panels?


Also the trianle paterns on the obolisks before they are scanned..... gotta be some sort of code

The anaconda at the latest crash site (upright one) does have two chairs, it's only the pilots one that is missing, and you can see the hatch plate thing where it was. I presume they get blown out when the pilot ejects.

Perhaps they are not at war. Perhaps the UAs are a cattle fence for the ranch where the Thargoids bread space crabs?

The crabs will be slaugtered for their bilogical hyper drives, because we sabotaged the thargoid's own drives.
