Btw, If the same obelisk offers different info depending of what do you have in your hold, there are thousands of combinatios, so at first glance we shouldn't need more ruins to decode all the data.

I have a feeling that a next ancient city will be underground. Doors need to be unlocked.
Thou shall keep some exquisite focus crystals.
Ram Tah is a Guardian's descendant.

Alien ship is scanning our DNA signature.

We're not all looking at a form with numbers.

When another CMDR scans and it is correct, does everybody present get the data? Or is the message bugged? How do we keep track of what we have?

Do the artefacts (orb urn etc) have to be in your hold or just next to the obelisk? If they can be next to the obelisk you can bring more than 2, giving us more combinations.

Ok ... so I thought I was going bonkers. I landed my Python at the archaeological site next to obelisks on the 2nd Nov last year (or 3302 if you prefer) and took some obligatory selfies around the ship. After that experienced a bad case of Elite Fatigue and took a break until today. Download the patch and log in and boom the old girl is perched on top of a new set of obelisks.

That was my initial thought too, but he is talking about going to the ruins in Synuefe in this thread, so he appears to know what he's on about. He does call them "alien ruins" in places though.

I've replied to that thread and sent him a PM to see what it's about.

I can confirm that the same combination of objects will handle the same data on different obelisks as another user got the same info than me in a different place. Also, some combinations don't seem to work at all. Casket+Orb and Casket+Relic didn't work at all for me.

How about we start creating a list with confirmed working combinations? This is getting too chaotic. And the low-G driving with the abrupt terrain doesn't help to make this any easier.

The Guardians sound quite human like to me. Are we descendants of one of their colony arks?

Or are the three arks still sitting on top of their launch towers in the ruin?

Not sure whether or not it's been here, but I found one combo:
Relic+orb, single obelisk on smaller round "landing pad" which is "south-west" of the ruins' map.

It's Research 14/21.

SORRY! Wrong place, it's actually Casket + Relic on obleisk located on larger round landing pad, located right on "north" of ruins.
