I'm a bit dissapointed about the fact, that i'll have to turn in my 60 mill. this weekend because the timer hits zero.
I know, that i can receive the ruins mission again, but i'll start with 0 scans "again".
I'm not a fan of exploiting this mechanic.
Fault from the devs: Should have instantly given anybody this mission at a special date. [CG like]
i really hope that this won't happen again.
It makes fun exploring a planet all day long in hoping to find a ruin, but only 4 weeks... welp.

Btw, this puzzle itself is not very hard (Brookes said it won't be easy. In my mind, finding the combinations, is easy). The right "pattern" for finding the ruins is hard as hell. If there's any ^^
And the broken Open / PG is just more frustrating.
How can you say its easy? when Nobody has managed to unlock the non default obelisks without using a supposedly bugged Open/PG mechanic.
Solo "seems to be working as intended" so the Fdev man said and open /pg seem to giving more results than they should be.
So until someone discovers the key to unlocking more solo mode obelisks, I would say Easy to get more results in the supposedly bugged modes ? Yes.
Easy in solo to get more than the 24 default results ? No.
I dont care if peeps collect more credits using Open or Pg. Thats fine, just dont claim its easy to solve when using a bug![]()

If you want to start something like this, you'll have to limit it to "only Solo".
I think many of us tried to get other obelisks working, but old ones are not resetting in solo and new one won't appear.
sorry that I cant check myself (was yesterday on site 3 but forgot) as currently transferring my ASPX to Colonia, but could someone on Site 3 have a short glimpse to the obelisks while scanning ?No sorry no threads that I know of.
I am running a spreadsheet detailing all the possible combinations and the duplicates.
Also trying different combinations across all 3 sites. Though that isn't listed in that spreadsheet.
I have seen no collective effort to decode the combinations, sorry.
So, as a follow-up, nothing found BUT I have been experiencing "apparent" (kind of subjective) longer Load time while dropping on the -7° LAT between 0° to 100° LONG (Planet 7D of Synuefe ZL-J D10-119).
Absolutely not sure it can lead to results, but it is the highest combination of odd events I have witnessed in my last 7 days of brute forcing the system.
Since MB assures us it's working correctly in solo, I'm guessing that whatever we need to do to activate additional obelisks doesn't need them to reset. We must have everything we need with the active obelisks, the artefacts, and/or the alpha-epsilon data (as that's the only consistent (within an instance) result from scanning). This is the assumption I've been working to, but have had no luck so far.

I'm a bit confused on that point. The planet with the third discovered ruins is listed as tidally locked, but it was day when I first arrived, and now it's night. Is it tidally locked to its moon, and not the star?
Just started a complete flyby of -7.0° LAT, starting at 0.0° LONG.
Let's see if something comes out of it.
