Just picked this game up. What a treat in VR, even at this early stage of the mod. Right up there with Lone Echo in graphics. Boy am I glad I bought the 1080ti.

Boy am I glad I bought the 1080ti.

Actually Alien Isolation in VR is not that demanding. Runs perfectly well with my 980 (no TI). Which is amazing given the visual quality of this game.

I found it quite demanding at pixel density 2 in ultra. Actually backed it down to pd 1.8.

Well ok, you can always find ways to MAKE it demanding.

I tried this last night for a bit. It's very good, but for me it likes to crash a lot, which is frustrating. I will wait a bit until some of the issues get sorted out.

Works great as far as immersion goes, more so than what I expected from a seated experience, though it crashes far too often for me to be playable.

Yup, it's toward the bottom of the video options.

You`ll need em I say that with all honestly. It`s now up to 0.3.* is MotherVR.

I tried this last night for a bit. It's very good, but for me it likes to crash a lot, which is frustrating. I will wait a bit until some of the issues get sorted out.

Try the 0.3.* version. Just when you get it started, you cant click anything on your PC with your mouse , as it will crash the game.

I played over a hour with 0.3.1, no crashes. The only downside is I cannot have display mirror because the game window needs to be front and active. Hmmm maybe I'll try pinning the display mirror so the missus can enjoy the Alien story too.

It seems the crashing problem went away for me when I unplugged some unneeded USB devices. I've read that A:I is very sensitive to some hardware, it's not a VR related thing.
