PvP Aliens are ruining PvP

It's entirely possible that other people are not combat logging on you - but for a multitude of reasons your connection to them is insufficient and the game kicks you out to avoid unpleasantness for everyone involved.

I've got a CMDR still in Maia if you'd like your connection thoroughly vivisected :D

I think you must be in the wrong sub-forum, pal.

Anyway, I finally got a good fight!

After several combat logs, one bad dude in a Corvette stayed to fight, even though he was primarily fit for Thargoid combat.

Got my FDL down to 56%, but low waked when I broke his shields.

That's how the game is supposed to be played.

Well done CMDR. Wherever you are. [up]

I think you would enjoy world of tanks more with your mindset.
This is hardly a pvp game it is a modern day iteration of a 90's space trading game.
This thread is gonna be great hand me the popcorn.

I see, what you're looking for is PvP but not against PvP ready ships.
Otherwise you would be on here advertising for a fight rather than whining about other people

I dont know which game you are playing, but the current state of ED is that it has only one feature complete: combat.

Its not a trading or an exploration game atm simply because FDEV didnt bother developing those areas.

So maybe you are the one playing the wrong game.

Just sit back and enjoy:D

I get the sense you guys are waiting for some carebear to respond in some way. I'm very willing to be that carebear, but not really sure how to react.

So, just a generic: Booo! for now. Will be more to the point when I figure out what and where this point is.

It is also possible - although not likely - that you are in someone's ignore list; if somehow you are still instanced with them in Supercruise, attempting to interdict them will result in you ending up in an empty instance without combat-logging.

But yeah, it's not statistically likely if this happens so frequently.

So why don't you ONLY interdict ships that appear to be combat fitted?
You've not provided enough info to go on, but I can only assume that the ships that combat logged were simply not equipped to fight you.

Before we go on, can someone stop and explain the flame bait issue to me please? The opening statement in the thread basically says, "People I interdict in Maia are combat logging on me."

Where is the flame bait in that?

You're kidding, right? Are you saying it's OK to combat log if you're not prepared for the situation you find yourself in?

Because that's what it looks like you're saying...

No. I am saying that if you are expecting a fair and fun experience whilst going after every ship, you are being rather deluded.

I am just pointing out that there are things that YOU can do to ensure you have a better experience.

If you genuinely want good PVP interactions, choose targets that are likely to want it.
