All islands playable at once or strictly only one after another?

As the titles says, will we be able to play an all islands at the same time (after we have unlocked all) or will the story push us from one island to the next?

If we can play on more then one island, what happens when some incident happens while the player is at a different island?

You have to unlock each one after getting so many stars on the previous one. To open Nublar you need 5 stars on every island.

You unlock a new island with 3 stars on the island you are playing on.
When you play on a island the time pauses for the other islands, also you can go back to previous islands if for example you unlock a new dinosaur and want that also on the other islands.
Basically you can move freely from island to island once it's unlocked.

I know that time freezes on other islands while you are working on another island but I wish that there would be random events/disasters that would pop up from time to time to direct you back to one of the other islands to keep you bouncing back and forth.
