With the beta starting tomorrow, just proactively starting the first of many of these threads.

Now for the PSA Part...

The beta environment is a completely isolated environment from the main game taken from a main game snap shot some days prior to beta launching. What happens in beta has absolutely no affect on the main game, and what happens in the main game has no affect on the beta. Progress is not ever reflected between the two.

Why should I play the beta? It's FDev's job to test their game, not mine.

What happens in the beta stays in the beta.

It's doing those really stupid things, like dismissing your ship when you SRV is parked on it, that make the beta so worthwhile.

Why should I play the beta? It's FDev's job to test their game, not mine.

One of many reasons. It's your chance to BREAK the game without any consequences in your normal game! I like to break things. FD loves it as well so they can fix it. Fun for all.
