All this KARMA and Bounty system nonsence - there is simple and fun gameplay solution.

I Just response:

1. Remember balancing, it can be limit 20 mil Cr of max bounty, and player who kill another player should know what its going to happen next.
2. You dont get it at all or didnt read my post - how on earth are you going to use this as Cr transfer ?

How to use this as a credit transfer? You, me and 3rd party all meet up in Sidewinders. Our 3rd party murders me. I issue a 20m credit bounty on this 3rd party. You then kill the 3rd party and claim the bounty. I come back and we do it again, and after a few times, I've essentially transferred a billion credits to you. Now, 15 minutes into the game, you go buy yourself an Anaconda, fully A-rate it, and have exploited this bounty system. You post about it here, and the forum is outraged, as they have been playing for 4 years and still can't afford an Anaconda of their own.

A nice idea in theory, but as Indigo said this can open up the gates to abuse of direct currency transfer... because MMO players are an industrious group of people, usually. ED players even more so. I can already think of a couple of methods that this could be exploited.

The design team have always been very much against direct trade and as far as I'm aware this hasn't changed. Maybe it will, but that's not something that I can say for sure.

I think a bounty system in the game could be a bit of fun for those who wish to hunt down their fellow CMDRs. I'm certain it's been discussed before and maybe the idea will be thought over again in some form. I don't imagine a system like the above would be considered though. Not with the option of one player fronting the money and another being able to take that money. Remains to be seen, though, with the core improvements post-2.4.

Well, the way around it is to make it cost a commander an exorbitant fee, to post the bounty. With the bounty hunter not seeing any of said fee, just the bounty that get's posted.

I mean yeah, people who have billions could use some of their billions to give another commander a few million, but I'm not sure that would open up any real "problematic" money transfer situations due to the money sink involved.
