Horizons Allow to choose which direct an SRV faces when deployed, atleast on the Ananconda

I have flewn alot in an Anaconde and done many planet landings, and one thing that always have annoyed with when flying my Ananconda is that my SRV is deployed pointing straight at that stupid big "belly" of the Ananconda, with strategically placed landing gear making the 90 degree turn to get away from the Ananconda a 50%/50% game.

In all other ships I have tried this is not a problem, since you have a clear path straight out, and to be honest, several ships would be bad to have the SRV facing forward when deployed, due to the massive landing gear sitting right in the way. Just like having a big "box" in the way on the Anaconda!

And some ships do not have the central placed landing gear so a forward deployed SRV makes sense there aswell.

I think that it is a first world problem man. You have the best exploration ship in game and a galaxy to look at and you dont like the fact that the SRV lowers facing backward. I dont see this as being an issue and I have landed on hundreds of planets.

Might be, but it still a suggestion to make it a bit easier, but I have no doubt that you would have no problem having your SRV pointing in a worse direction, like into a landing gear, or any other small quirks of the game that could be considered first world problem, like the SRV scanner is not working the same way it used to, or small things like the the fuel level on SRV is wrong in certain situtions, or SRV not refueling automatically, although it says it does, so you have to refuel it yourself.

And if you are fine with this, then if my suggestion was implemented, you could still CHOOSE which direction your SRV would face.

We all have those things that bother us or grind on our OCD but I see Elite like this.....I really enjoy elite and Im not playing it and looking for problems in the details, the things that are....worrisome. Im trying not to die and see as much of the game as possible.
If refueling my SRV with synthesis is the biggest problem I run into.......cool.

On your landing gear thing....There is no landing gear in the front of an Anaconda. Its four point gear at the mid section. Mine is. Maybe Im arguing with a troll?

I think the number of responses to this post is maybe an answer in itself?

So you fly an ananconda, what about other ships? with landing gear in the middle? But hey, yuou can have your own oipinion, and as I stated, I wanted it to be an OPTION, so you can still face the same way as before, even if my suggestion was implemented, so what is the big deal here? What constructive answer have you provided? it more looks like you are the one trolling with your first world problems reference.

You are correct, my response was not constructive.
I do not see the problem though, could you explain or show in a picture what you are referring too?
You maybe have a real issue and I do not understand.

Stuck on landing gear with max turned wheels from initial deployment.

Steps to reprpoduce.

Land on planet
Deploy SRV
Wait for SRV to be deployed, notice how SRV moves forward at bit upon deployement (how much varies) and if handbrake is automatically applied does not matter.
If handbrake is applied, remove it, turn max to either left or right, give a little throttle and see if you make the turn pass the landing gear.

In my experience, it is about 50/50% chance you make the turn.
The soil on the planet matters, some are more slippery and that tends to give more skidding forwards and you fail the turn, some soil are less slippery and here it works most the time.

So you have to make pretty pointless reverse motion be on your way, and with an OPTION to deploy the SRV in the other direction, this would not be an issue, and people who like to have the SRV facing backwards, into the box, can still do that.
