In my opinion they need to give the Early Bird Pass the same contents as the Coaster Head edition minus the T-shirt and Wristband. (so with VIP forum and so on)

Alpha in March, but when will the final release be? I'm like: should I buy Early Bird or just wait for final release with the Coaster Head Edition?
I think it's a bit too much to buy Early Bird and Coaster Head "membership" separately.

I'll ask about it when the proper folks are in office on Monday. Thanks for your input. :)

I bought head club membership for 40€ with shipping fee included. Also I have to buy early bird pass for around 60€.

I didn't understand why early bird pass didn't get acces to head club. It had to seem logical if someone who preorders early bird pass wants also be integrated in head club.

I will have to buy both seperatly. Maybe there's some change in the office and we can get it for lower :) just a thought

I think it would be somewhat unfair for those who already purchased both in order get access to private forums and alphas/betas.
If early bird would get access to the private forums as well i would expect i price reduction or some sorts of refunds.
On the other hand there are probably people out there who just wants to play the game as early as possible, not caring about giving feedback.

Maybe your right. But refunding should not be a problem

Glad it's going to be put forward as I agree with this too, it makes no sense that the people who are actually going to be testing the game are currently planned to to be excluded from the private forum where discussions/voting on features will take place.

It's actually the main reason I'm still on the fence about making a purchase right now. I have zero interest in the merchandise aspect of the Coaster Head Club package and if the Early Bird package came with access to the private forum I for one would no longer be on the fence.

so what are private forums?
People who buy the Coaster Head club access level will have the ability to view and post to these three forums...

So as it stands right now, The Coaster Head Club forum section will remain limited to the Coaster Head Club owners only.

When beta/alpha begins later on next year, there will be a few more forums added and devoted to those incarnations of the game (bug reports, beta support, etc).

That makes a little more sense now. I think most people thought the beta/alpha was included into the hidden forums of Coaster Head Club. Having said that it's still a lot of money for both Early Bird and CHC. I hate being a poor student [ugh][cry]

I'm waiting with the early bird pass. For now my head club membership is enough. And if they put the head club into early bird pass I have to contact the support to upgrade my current version

Planet Coaster - Head Edition (60,99 €) + Planet Coaster - Early Bird Edition (67,99 €)
Early access + Sub-forum + T-shirt = 130 €

WOW [shocked] You go hard guys !

I guess I will wait huhu [big grin]

Yes you right ! You can take it separately. Sorry.

Anyway, this remains the most expensive Early Access I've ever seen.
Generally, anticipated access are available at a price between 0€ and approx 30€ for the max (in €, i dont about the $ prices)
I just checked to be sure, and the average is at around 15€ (as you can see it in the "Early Access" on Steam here)

Generally also, access to the forum/chat/etc... with developers is (almost) always included in the Early Access (this is the goal, seems legit)

I would agree if it was 29.90€ if everything was included (or even more than the maximum, below 50, it's still ok, because it is a AAA game, so why not), but107€ for this, is almost 4 timesthe maximum. [wacky][wacky][wacky] I do not know what they smoke, but it's good ... or maybe they forgot that it was an early access, and not the "Deluxe Edition of a new gen console game in day one"

Anyway, this is for the rich only. And I'm middle class, so I'll pass. [sad]
