An ironic death, and lessons learned from it.

Nah, the road back won't be nearly as tough, but it's going to be pretty brutal and painstaking.

Fun fact, by the way. Sidewinders are stupid freakin' responsive, so my first official act as a 'born again' Sidewinder pilot was to smash it into a station. Oops.

Yeah, jumping from a trade-fit freighter into a Vulture usually ends up with me stuffing it into the far side of the landing pad a few times before I adjust, too.

Alright, while I admire intelligent discussion, let's get back on track and laugh at my misfortune, shall we? A fuel stop screwed me out of a ship. Sure, it sucks, still stings, but, you have to admit, it's pretty damned funny.

Moral of the story: "ALWAYS HAVE A FUEL SCOOP"

This isn't having a go at the op, I usually don't fly a new ship until I have 4 or five times the rebuy cost in case I make more than one stupid mistake. What do the rest of you do. Fly as soon as you can buy, or wait till you've got a buffer?

Six credits! Tragic tale but definitely the best insurance woes bar story so far.
I wish we had a way to chip in and give you the cash to get a new T9. Alas, we don't. I sincerely hope you have a blast getting back up and have learnt the lesson about insurance.
Best of luck, CMDR. ;)
