Background - I have been a member of Mobius for 1 month now, and have spent perhaps 20 hours in this private group, never once were the rules of the Mobius group infracted upon.
Today I was removed from the group known as Mobius, the reason behind the removal was given because I am also a member of a group in open called The Code. It is a fact that 2 players who also happen to be Code members, invaded Mobius, events happened a year ago, taking place before I even joined.. Lets put this in perspective, banning the whole of Code, because of association of 2 members out of more than 300 members. Was the action of these 2 players officially sanctioned by Code? no.
The Code's official stand point, since this isolated event, is to prohibit it's members from mode invading private groups, this has been stated publicly by Code's PR representative Gluttony Fang, to clarify a mode invasion is the act of joining a private group specifically to break it's rules.
Why is this relevant? one guy, excluded from 1 private group? because the reason given is discriminatory.
It is assumed I am Guilty by Association. History is littered with discrimination, against race, religion, sex, thankfully the worst forms of Discrimination are relics of the past. Where discrimination exists, it should be put under a spot light, so that its ugly face is exposed for all to see.
