anaconda docking bay

i'm next to buy an anaconda and i have a question... which type of ship is possible to dock in his bay? only the SideWinder? with this ship, is possible launching and re-docking at any moment ??

It has always said that, but as others have said, the ability to carry around a smaller ship is not yet possible.

It's a planned feature, but I would expect it to come after multi crew ships / being able to walk around your ship.

Any ship with a mass less than 25, currently that would include Hauler and Sidewinder.

The Anaconda can also be upgraded with a docking bay allowing small fighters up to Sidewinder size to be carried and launched.

I can think of some uses for hauling a hauler or a sidewinder around..but nothing thats really viable.

Like using hauler to ferry goods from conda to outpost. But time spent doing that doesnt seem profitable.

What do you guys think?

I would think that when we get the Horizons Expansion, then it would make sense to leave the big ship in orbit and take the smaller more maneuverable ship down to the planet.

I could absolutely see using a Hauler or a Sidewinder to ferry goods from an Anaconda, or even a Type 9, to an outpost. This is particularly good for trade and mining missions where being able to collect them from outposts would improve your profit by a nice factor. I really Hope that this becomes an option.
