Anaconda mining/combat build?

I've finally bought an Anaconda (yeah!) and still want to use it for mining but I also want to be able to knock off the NPC pirates that come around. I normally run into them when I log out mid mining, then relog back in and they'll scan me and try to shank me. I had a mining/combat build on my Python that worked well so I'm wanting to know if an effective build that still allows me to mine but also protect myself when a private gets handsy and sends those annoying hatch limpets.

This is mine, heavily engineered tho
You'll have to alter the build if you dont have engineers unlocked or the required materials.

Tho, you can always be content with G4 engineering - way cheaper than G5 and the benefits are usually 90-95% from what G5 gives.

I have zero engineers. I've looked up how to get engineers and it seems like a complicated and daunting task and the perks don't really motivated me to try to get them.

the perks are totally worth it, but it's a long road to take.
Still, even if you unlock a single engineer - Felicity Farseer, she can give you an impressive boost to FSD jump range, sensibly better drives and even the minor improvements to Power Plant are useful - but just stay in Solo/PG if you going to visit her. Deciat became a major PVP Hub recently.

Guess you can try this, 1 less collector, slightly less Cargo, but pretty expensive - guess you can ditch the military composite bulkheads.
But quite solid to be able to deal with random NPC pirates

I did recently got a message from Felicity Farseer last time I was at a station, I was too busy looking for level 3 multi-cannons to look at the galaxy map for her but once I get my cannons, I'll look at seeking her out. I also upgraded to 6A Thrusters since the thing moved as graceful as a 1970s Cadillac. I also tried visiting the link you sent but I get an error 522. I'm in China so not sure if I can access the site or if the site itself is having problems. I've also fitted a Level 4 beam laser (for shields), and a heat-seeking missile rack (a better option?) for a large HP, then going to put two multi-cannons on my other two large hard points. Still not 100% what to put on the small HP since my medium HPs are taken up by my mining lasers.

I just bribe the npc. They do not ask for a lot anyways.

The main thing you want to engineer for mining is your Power distributor. You do not need this when you stick to 2 lvl 2 lasers. 3 is nice; more is overkill as your limpets can not keep up.

If you cant access the link...

In that case, it's not a good idea to tackle pirates, except the harmless ones on their own. Definitely don't try and fight any that interdict you. One thing you have to be careful of is that they nearly all have hatchbreakers that spill your cargo all over the place while you're fighting them, so make sure you have double point defence covering your cargo hatch.
