Animal Animatronics

I know there's a lot of questions about adding a zoo component, but what I'd really love to see is more of a variety of animal animatronics. Horses, cattle, snakes, hawks, lizards and coyotes for the western theme, dogs and cats for something a little more home-y, wolves, bears, deer, owls, and squirrels for our forests, elephants, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, lions, tigers and zebras for the wilder places. Maybe some fish and oceangoing mammals for additional variety. These are things you see in just about every theme park, and they're just really quite difficult to build out of basic shapes!

Even if there's a zoo/safari DLC, I think it would be worthwhile to include mechanical counterparts for each of the animals in case we are more interested in paying for their electric bill than worrying about feeding 'em and cleaning their poo. :)

So, you're against having robot sharks, monkeys, crocks, horses, and other such critter based scenery that would synergize well with the existing themes?

You are correct. I don't see a need for those type of objects. I know for some they might be useful; I would just never use them. I feel that time should be spent fixing problems with the core game first.

Sorry if you don't like my opinion. To each their own.

I would prefer animatronics to real animals. I would like Dinosaurs, Unicorns, Owls, Foxes, Hedgehogs, Lions, horses, Penguins, seals and cats/dogs [happy]

That is a nice list of animatronics :D

If I was asked which animal animatronics (placeable effects) I would like for a theme park, then I would say;
  • fish
  • frogs
  • ducks
  • owls
  • ravens (yay, we got them with the Spooky Pack DLC)
  • cats
