So for the past year I have been slowly going through the animals and spending my time breeding animals up to 100% quality. I currently have 19 animals with the minimum of 100% longevity and 70% and above in the others stats. I was thinking that instead of sitting on these animals I could spend my time breeding animals that people want and putting them at Frontier recommended prices when they want them. At the moment I just breed them when I need them, dump the ones I don't want and then store my breeding stock for when I need more to fill out my 'make it look good' zoo.
So what Im wanting to do is give back to the market and maybe make high quality animals more abundant on the market and drop them when people who are looking to use them will buy them.
As I said before I have 19 animals I am no longer actively breeding or looking to breed in the future, in my head they are 'done' and I probably will never need to breed them again which will then make a shortage in the market that Im hoping to alleviate on demand. And I want to toss this out there for anyone interested. Im willing to start in the next week or so with a few restrictions which I will lay out after I list the animals I consider 'done'. I also have the rare variants where they apply.
'Done' Animals
African Buffalo
African Elephant
Bactrian Camel
Western Lowland Gorilla
Indian Elephant
Reticulated Giraffe
Sable Antelope
Springbok
Thomson's Gazelle
Gemsbok
African Wild Dog
Bengal Tiger
Cheetah
Jaguar
Plains Zebra
Proboscis Monkey
Siberian Tiger
Snow Leopard
West African Lion
With this in mind I am currently in the process of breeding up 6 other animals, a few will be 'done' in a generation or two.
Current projects
Bornean Orangutan(1-2 Gens left)
Western Chimpanzee(1-3 Gens left)
Bonobos (1-2 Gens left)
Spotted Hyena (could be done at anytime but trying to up the size)
Hippopotamus (3 or more Gens to breed in rare variant)
Pygmy Hippo (Just started, could take 5 or more gens)
Since I am close to being done with many of the long maturing animals im going to have more time to start breeding some animals by demand and that's what I want to do. Taking my 'done' list in mind what would you all like to see in the market? I will breed a Generation of any of them before moving to another animals. (I will update the list as I go)
