Animals are released for way less CC now, is this intended?

Since the patch, gold lions release for less than 1000 CC (used to be around 1500), cheetahs for around 650 (used to be around 1000). Is this intended, and yes, could we have some explanation of the reasoning maybe?

Note: animals were never put in Trade Center. Release directly from habitat upon maturing.

It would be great to know if it's on purpose or not, yes! Perhaps intended to adjust something regarding the player market? I'm not sure about the effect it will have though.

Maybe more animals in the market, thus more choice for buyers. It's the law of offer and demand, more offer for the same demand leads to a decrease in prices, and a better accessibility to casual players ?

I don't know if there was any complaints about the prices in the market ?
