Animals getting fed in the trade center?

Hello, all!

I recently noticed that my lions in the trade center were still being counted in my cost per feed numbers. I thought the trade center was kind of a limbo state. Are they supposed to be counted in the feed costs or is this a bug?

If I released the lions from my trade center, my cost went down by about $2K with the grade 1 food category.

I hardly think they do, and if they do, it is only for a short while, or a bug. Right now, I still have over a hundred ostriches in the tradecentre, +around 50 cheetas, 30 pangolins and a few hundred Gemsbock, all put in there from the zoo I'm playing right now. And my annual feeding cost is around 10k. Only the animals that are in habitats have feeding costs, not the ones in the tradecentre.
And that makes sense, as if the animals in the tradecentre was getting fed, it would mean that breeding programs or large zoo's would be impossible to play as all the animals in the tradecentre would bleed the zoo dry.

Yes, I think you are mixing the two When an animal is in quarantene, they are still in the zoo. Their welfare gets affected and they still get fed (animals that gets put into quarantene always gets fed there). But the tradecentre is something completly different. The animals is not technically in the zoo anymore (even if you can see them when using the animal panel in your zoo interface). They don't have any welfare (but if you out an animal with low welfare in the tradecentre it will still display as having low welfare, you will still get alerts and protestors, so don't do that!). They don't age and they do not get fed. They are basicly in limbo
