Bats are mainly responsible because they carry the Covid-19 virus in their blood but people are also responsible to eating animals which are unclean for human health. So, I would say that both are to blame in the end.
That's a really strange thought, but completely in line with the common human thinking proces. There must always be someone or something else to blame for their own shortcomings.
It's not the bat's or the Pangolin's fault he's been eaten. And it's also not that SARS is something new. So people should've known.
It is this illegal market trading of protected animals and their body parts in a very unsanitary way that is the cause of this all, not the animal.
Probably someone ate that Pangolin because it had "magical properties". Well yeah, magical in a completely different way it turned out.
ONTOPIC: I'd still think bats deserve a spot on the list of the OP.
