I think I've made a fairly legit looking Technics SL1210 turntable. Hope you like it. A few more finishing touches and I'll add it to the workshop.
The pitch control slides up and down and also the platter and vinyl spins. Anybody who has used these turntables will know that there are silver speed markers around the edge of the platter. These form an optical illusion of looking still. So I've added all of the dots to a separate rotator. The red strobe light is actually strobing too!!
The arm is attached to a rotational thing and it does swing around. I've set to to be still though as the minimum turn is a quarter turn, this makes the arm swing all the way to the back to the turntable. Doesn't look good.
1/8 and 1/12 turns please Frontier?
And it's huge. Less than 2000 pieces but will make a good dark ride ceiling if you flip it upside down. Here are some mascot size comparisons. Yes absolutely in the game they look like they're having a rave on the vinyl
