Annoying & Blurry lines on scenery

Thanks for your answer! But no, I have all settings on ultra & high.

My computer specs are

Asus Dual GTX 1060 OC 6GB GDDR5
Tacens Mars Gaming Vulcano 750W 80 Plus Silver Modular
G.Skill Ripjaws V Red DDR4 2400 PC4-19200 16GB 2x8GB
Gigabyte GA-B360M DS3H
Intel Core i7-8700 3.2Ghz BOX

I think I have a good computer specs to play Planco perfectly. But I don't know what to do with those horrible lines.

Thanks!

I’m sure you have but I thought I’d mention it - have you double checked the settings?

I play on ultra and for some reason my game randomly lowered one or two settings for no reason.

I checked everything twice but I can't make it disappear. I took some screenshots of my Config game window. I'm sorry It's in spanish but you will understand for sure.
Please, this is so annoying!

Thank you guys!

I'm not sure at all, but I'm wondering if this hasn't something to do with your ambient occlusion setting? The lines remind me of the shadows that ambient occlusion add to objects to give them added depth and shadows.

You have it on high, I'd suggest turning it down to medium or even low and see if there's any difference. Only a wild guess on my part, but perhaps worth a try anyways!

Hi guys, 3 months later and after some updates this ugly effect remains on my game. Does anyone have the same issue? I've tried everything.

Thanks guys!

You may want to ask the Tech Support forum. They may be able to help you. Hopefully they can resolve it for you.

This has nothing to do with your own settings, it's just a "feature" of the parts in several building sets. It's been there for everybody since the game was released but most folks don't notice it because:

* it only happens with parts in a few building sets;
* those building sets aren't the ones people use the most;
* it's only visible when the light hits the parts at the correct angle, which is not 11am or 1pm, the most common times people freeze time at when building stuff.

Until a few weeks ago, I had always thought this "feature" was intentional, to make subtle, hard-to-see dividing lines between wall panels of certain materials, for realism. After all, most facades are faked, not really made of what they appear to be, and they have to come to the site in sections small enough to fit on standard trucks. So I paid it no mind.

HOWEVER, on 4 Jan 2019, between 1.10 and 1.10.1, Helena noticed this for the 1st time and posted this bug report on it:
https://forums.planetcoaster.com/showthread.php/35510-Shadow-artifacts-on-build-walls-(graphic)

And this is what QA-Mitch said about it:
https://forums.planetcoaster.com/sh...alls-(graphic)?p=250722&viewfull=1#post250722

And later he said this:
https://forums.planetcoaster.com/sh...alls-(graphic)?p=250934&viewfull=1#post250934

So, we're ALL (not just you) probably stuck with this for the foreseeable future. But it's OK because most folks don't even realize this is going on, and even if you know about it, most of the time you can't see it.

Thus, I continue to stick to my rationalization above, that it's panel lines. Even though I now know this isn't the case, it helps to think of it that way.

WoW! Thank you very much @Bullethead! You made me happy with your answer. It's conforting to read that I am not the only one who suffers this. Maybe it's just a question to wait and see if devs solve it in future. Thanks mate!

Thanks to you too @heatherg23 I will!
