Newcomer / Intro Annoying hammering sound?

I noticed a couple of days ago after switching ships annoying hammering sounds, like someone is striking a hammer 3 times onto a metal object.It hasn’t stopped after switching back ships and it is not the same as the normal creaking sounds you get while flying and happens while docked and out in space. I am beginning to wonder if I have a stowaway or someone is clinging to the outside of the hull. Any ideas where it could be coming from? Been playing a few months and never had it before.

No just the knocking. I have not long had it installed and all it does is squawk. I must have another look at the pdf.

Oh you want to go into the "configurator" (see the manual) and set it to profane - it is really potty-mouthed though so be warned. It is great fun out in the black.

So not the parrot! Have uninstalled the parrot and sound still there. More random, sometimes just 1 clang, sometimes 2 or 3. Have listened to the parrot sounds and that is a knocking on door sound. This is a clang of metal on metal. Just had 5 in a row now. Very weird!
