Another Mongoose?

Really sad. Would they be too invasive here if they would escape?
Pretty much, thats what the black list is for. Hard to controll invasive species with significant ecological and or economical danger for our native ecosystem.
There are actually quite alot of invasive not on that list, for example the german rhea and rose ringed parakeet populations, because so far there could be no significant damage found and in the case of the rhea if there would be they could simply be shot.

It's been over two years since we got the meerkat, which is still our only mongoose in the game and certainly it was the obvious choice... But how about a second species? Mongooses are quite an iconicgroup of small carnivores so I think we could justify getting a second species.

Personally, I really would love to see the Dwarf Mongoose get added as I have seen them in loads of zoos and the addition of the viewing domes made me think about them more. The main roadblock here is that they are absolutely tiny, like a third the size of meerkats but if they could somehow work (maybe in Walkthrough?) I'd be really happy.

If the Dwarf Mongoose couldn't be worked into the game, I'd still like to see another species as a nice alternative to the meerkat. My top picks would be either the Banded or Yellow Mongoose:

Would you like to see a second mongoose species?
I think the Banded Mongoose would be pretty neat to have, as I've seen them in quite a couple of zoos in Germany. It's always nice to have more options, so they could make for an interesting alternative to the meerkat despite being relatively similar animals gameplay-wise.

The Rheas seem to be only limited to a relatively small Area though, so as long as the Population doesn't grow too much, they probably shouldn't do much Damage

If another mongoose gets added, it’s gotta be in an India pack with a king cobra. (Just like how a coyote and roadrunner need to be in the same pack)
