You can actually be warmongering as you want if you choose to do undermining or opposition activities against enemy powers or promote favorable factions to Aisling in their wars/civil wars doing CZ missions ultimately helping to lower the triggers for fortification for her control system spheres. Or be as independent and particular as you want. For example, some of us don't care for ZYADA while we support Aisling.
There was a major campaign last week where maybe hundreds of Aisling expansion media hauling trips were done for the week to expand(liberate!) Kalana, and about 5000 Felicia Winters fed"spy"-courier ships were shot down to oppose her expansion of Reini at the same time.

And these coordinated attacks and maneuvers come from the Aisling Duval Reddit section?
Sort of. The reddit posts are largely just bulletin boards, plans change throughout the week and lots is kept secret, only available in the Discords and Slack. Espionage is a very real part of PowerPlay 
Especially if that reward one is after is fun with other players. Aisling's faction has it in spades.
